The rarely offered cultivar of bloodroot is a beautiful clump-forming woodland plant. Its flowers are borne above the blue-green lobed, kidney shaped leaves during spring. Grows best in a rich humus soil in part shade. The plant becomes dormant during the summer months; label well so you know where to look next March. A very limited number of nice large plants available this season, as can be seen in the photo.
