This beautiful clump-forming woodland plant is one of my favourite Spring flowers. Its flowers are borne above the blue-green lobed, kidney shaped leaves during spring. Grows best in a rich humus soil in part shade. The plant becomes dormant during the summer months; label well so you know where to look next March.
